Aussie, like the many animals that wound up on an illegal animal slaughter farm in AREA 97 of Hialeah, Fl, was destined for a torturous death until ARM stepped up in November of 2011.
Under the direction of ARM, a staged transaction of Aussies’ life for $130 and the intent of religious sacrifice, was conducted with the butcherers of this farm.
Following this exchange, a joint task force raid consisting of FBI, local, state and federal law enforcement agencies sprung into action and became one of the country’s biggest animal rescue operations of 2011. Because of this successful mission nearly 600 animals, including Aussie, were saved from severe animal abuse, starvation, illness and of course barbaric and illegal slaughter practices.
Aussie has since become a treasured member of the ARM family and a hero to nearly 600 animals.
